First the good: this book is a clear cut, action oriented blueprint for getting your business set up and forming an LLC in your state. It covers all of the basics and answers a lot of the questions I had going into this process. I had tried searching for this kind of information on the internet but aftre burning up far too many hours of my time I was left with more uncertainty than ever. There is too much incorrect and conflicting information on the internet, so for what this book costs it was well worth it just to bypass all the garbage floating around on the web and get the real facts about forming an LLC.The bad news is, this one book is probably not a complete substitute for a lawyer. I think it can function this way in the beginning for a lot of businesses (it worked for me anyway!) but it is a stop gap. As your business grows, you will outgrow this book and need specific legal advice. By the time you are at that stage, you should be making enough money that this isn't a big deal. For an early stage business though, this is the book the want to make sure you don't mess anything up too badly in your first year or two of business, or as you transition from a sole proprietor into an LLC.
